Certification

Who is responsible for what

Certificates are issued per model and per configuration — never per brand. What we can state here is the route and the division of work.

EEC / COC

European Union

L1e and L3e categories, whole-vehicle type approval.

We supply the technical file and the certificate for the shipped model. The importer registers the vehicle, handles plating, insurance and market surveillance.

Vehicle category and speed class decide the approval route. Settle this before tooling.

DOT / NHTSA

United States

DOT conformity for road use, plus EPA where the drive system requires it.

We supply conformity documentation. The importer carries customs clearance and product liability.

State registration rules differ — check the destination states, not just the federal rule.

Case by case

Other markets

United Kingdom, Australia, Middle East, Latin America and others are assessed per destination.

Both sides confirm the route in writing at the quotation stage, before any deposit.

We do not claim a certificate that has not been issued to us.

Current certificate status, with model and validity dates, is confirmed in writing with the quotation. It is deliberately not printed on this page.

Dealer support

What comes after the first container

A platform is easy to sell once. These are the parts that decide whether a territory is still selling it in year three.

Territory protection

Channel conflicts and cross-border selling are handled by rule, written into the agreement.

Spare-parts kit

A recommended first-order parts ratio and a consumables list, priced with the vehicle order.

Warranty, itemised

Battery, motor and controller carry separate terms and separate judgement criteria — never one blanket year.

Technical documents

Service manual, exploded views and fault-code tables, in your working language.

Training

Video-based service training by default; on-site training or a resident engineer for launch orders.

Marketing assets

Product photography, video and copy for your own channels, cleared for your market.

Process

From first message to first container

Five steps, with the work split stated up front — so nobody is waiting on a reply that was never requested.

FAQ

The questions that come before an order

If something here is still unclear, write to [email protected] — we would rather answer it before a sample than after.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is set per model and per configuration. A mixed-model first order is negotiable. The figure that applies to you is confirmed in the quotation, not estimated here.

Can we order a sample before committing?

Yes. Sample cost and freight are quoted separately, and part of the sample cost can be credited against a first volume order — the credit terms are stated in the quotation.

Do you grant exclusivity?

Exclusivity is tied to a territory and an annual volume target, reviewed each year against sell-through. It is written into the distribution agreement, never granted verbally.

Who handles certification?

We supply the technical file and the certificate for the model we ship. Registration, plating, insurance and market surveillance sit with the importer. The split is agreed in writing before tooling starts.

Can we use our own brand for local registration?

Yes. Badge, nameplate and VIN rules are part of the OEM package, and we supply the label set and documents your registration authority asks for.

What are the payment terms?

Terms are agreed per order and fixed in the sales contract, together with the shipping schedule and the remedy if a milestone slips.

What happens if delivery slips?

Production milestones and the remedy for delay are written into the contract. We report progress against those milestones, including the reason and the revised date.

Can we visit the factory before ordering?

Yes. Visits are arranged against a production schedule so there is something real to see — assembly, inspection and packing, not a showroom.
